These pictures were taken as part of the Gaithersburg Camera Club Photo Safari to this historic cemetery just 1 1/2 miles from the U.S. Capitol. It was established in 1807 as neighborhood burial ground, but until 1835 it was also used as the final resting place for nearly every Congressman who died in Washington.
